I miss having a blog

I do miss having a blog that's all about me where I can just record my thoughts.

Yesterday was a bad day, until about 7.15pm. I had the nightmare day from work, arsehole of a client, and difficult candidate. Then there was body pump and things started looking up - I got my squat bar up to 27.5k (i'm aiming for 30kg next week as I should be able to do it by then), managed a full chest track with 12.5kg on the bar, managed 5kg for the better part of a biceps track and made it through a reasonable amount of tricep and shoulder press ups on my toes.

I walked back with K and she broached the subject of getting trained up to be an instructor as the weights i'm doing are now similar to hers. I put up a little bit of resistance to appear humble (as you do in these situations) but secretly i'm buzzing about the possibility, i'd love to bring that kind of energy into a class and push people to get to their goals, and it'd be a good extra stream of income at the same time.

So now it's going to be an aim, it's around £800 to do my les mills qualification which would give me an NVQ 2 in exercise to music as well as the body pump acreditation and from there if I wanted to go onto RPM/Spin I probably could.

So that's my aim - that's my third big thing before i'm 30, so no holidays next year, no marathons, no mountains, but time to save my pennies and get this done, hopefully around the time of my 28th Birthday.

Onto point two - I refuse to be a fat body pump instructor so i'm using this as my main motivation to lose weight now. Athens trip with work is happening in 2 days, and i'll be back on Monday, which is when the overhaul begins, no more fuck-ups, no more binges, it's time to sort my life out, marathon training starts proper, diet starts proper, and I am for this 4 and a half hours - because I CAN DO IT.
